I love coming up with ideas on how to get different products and services to new customers.

Work Experience

Copywriting
Most recently, I have been discovering all the ups and downs of the freelancing world. I worked on a website content for the Czech branches of adidas and Zalando.
Projects
During my studies, I had an opportunity to work and create projects for real clients, such as QUAD, University of Derby and School's Out Club. These projects helped me to improve my skills in photography, video, editing, writing, marketing and PR significantly. I learned how to work with different types of cameras, kinds of software for editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom) and graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Canva).

Marketing Rep: University of Derby (2018 - 2019)
As a marketing rep at the university, my role was mainly writing blog posts about life as an international student in Derby. It improved my skills at writing targeted at a particular audience.

Copywriter: Knihy Dobrovský (2018 - now)
I also work part-time as a copywriter for the Czech bookstore and publishing house Knihy Dobrovský, for whom I write marketing texts and book reviews mainly as a material for their blog, but sometimes also for the magazine they publish. This job and guidance from the marketing and content director has helped me to understand marketing, copywriting and social media more. However, what is most important about this job to me, it connects to greatest passions of mine: reading and writing. And what could be better than writing about books?

Human Resources Intern: PKS Holding (2015)
During this internship, I helped to set up courses of the English language for the company's employees. This experience helped me to improve my writing skills and made me a much more organised person. I worked with databases in MS Office and created new tables and graphs. I was also helping with translation of various texts.

The Literature Empire
Since 2015, I have been developing and working on my own blog called The Literature Empire. I designed my own website, first via the tool Blogger by Google, and in 2018, I recreated the website in WordPress and began to write it both in English and Czech (my native language). This experience has helped me to improve my writing, knowledge of SEO, photography, graphic design and editing skills. It also developed my understanding of social media as a tool of promotion.
