Instagram poetry has amazed hundreds of thousands of people, and nowadays, we can read it even as a book.  Let us introduce you to the most popular authors!
We live in a world of technology.  We are still rushing somewhere, and the less time something takes us, the better.  When we do not have time to sit down and read a book, we can make our busy lives more exciting through Instagram poetry.  Those are mostly short minimalistic poems.  Which authors do we like?  Let’s find out!
Atticus
Is it a man or a woman?  What is his or her name?  No one knows.  Maybe all these secrets make Atticus and his work even more attractive.  He is writing short poems and epigrams and expresses his view of our world.  Poems are mostly about life, love or self-confidence, and are accompanied by illustrations or photos.  He published a book called Love Her Wild and will publish The Dark Between Stars in September.  Once you read some of his work, you will not care if it is a man or a woman, what is his real name, where is he from or what is his race.  Atticus will get under your skin and into your heart.  That is what we all have in common.
R. H. Sin
R. H. Sin (Reuben Holmes) has been active on Instagram for about six years, and according to The New York Times, he belongs to bestselling authors.  „Sin“ in his pseudonym refers to the Mesopotamian god of the Moon because he writes most of his works at night.  He focuses mainly on femininity and feminism.  The author could also be considered a representative of the fourth wave of feminism, which spread mainly after 2012 on social media.  He published several books, for example, Rest in the Mourning or Whiskey, Words and Shovel.
Rupi Kaur
Rupi Kaur is an Indian poet, writer and illustrator.  She got famous mainly because of poems about love, pain, broken heart, and everything good and bad in life.  Right after publishing her debut Milk and Honey, she became one of the bestselling authors.  She also made her fans happy by publishing her second book, The Sun and Her Flowers.  Her poems are very popular on Instagram.  Her posts are simple and elegant, often accompanied by her illustrations.  While reading, you will find out they are full of emotions and will not leave you cold-hearted.
Tyler Knott Gregson
Tyler Knott Gregson is a poet, author and professional photographer from Helena, Montana.  Besides Instagram, he is also active on platforms like Tumblr and Twitter.  Gregson is writing and sharing Daily Haiku on Love and Typewriter Series.  He is writing about love, feelings, pain, and simply emotions we experience personally daily.  And if an Instagram profile full of text is not the right thing for you, then you can be happy because thanks to his job, Gregson shares many photos as well.
Petr Soukup
Now is the time to introduce you to a man who made Instapoetry popular on the Czech scene.  Petr Soukup is a lyric writer, copywriter and poet.  He published four collections of poems: 2/3 chlapa, Skecy, Milovat šohaiku and Vyšší plevel.  Besides that, he is writing lyrics, for example for Monika Bagárová or bands like Memphis and Calm Season.  Even though we love previously mentioned poems, Petr’s work is a little bit more exceptional.  Why?  Because he writes in Czech.  Czech is a beautifully malleable language, and we can derive several forms of one word.  If you are fascinated by playing with the Czech language too and want to have fun, the Instagram of Petr Soukup is the right one for you.
Each author we mentioned is unique in his or her way.  They are writing about emotions, happiness and also struggles in life.  All of them will get under your skin; their final stop is your heart.  Simply, once you begin to read their work, you will not want to stop.  Have you found your favourites?  We have!
